Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire Will See “Different Versions” Of Godzilla

2024 might not seem like it has plenty of “big movies” coming out, especially given the state of comic book films nowadays, but there are a few you should be mindful of! Dune: Part Two is coming out in a few weeks, and that should be incredible. Later this year, Deadpool & Wolverine will likely blow our minds. Then, for those who prefer “monstrous action,” you can enjoy Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire. The sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong will see the two “king kaijus” teaming up to save the day from a new monster on the rise.

One thing the initial trailer showed off was that both Godzilla and Kong will get “upgrades.” According to director Adam Wingard, during an interview with Empire Magazine, that’s due to how both sides will undergo “training” to get stronger, not unlike martial arts movies he grew up on:

Deadpool & Wolverine Gets Official Trailer

We all knew the Super Bowl would have trailer for us to “enjoy,” and it seemed like Ryan Reynolds would drop his return to the superhero world in it…because why not? But little could we know that the movie that is now called Deadpool & Wolverine would be this…well, Wade Wilson. Seriously, I’m excited for this and I’m curious where this film will go. Plus, the trailer is really good! if you don’t believe me, watch the trailer below!

So, where to start? The blending of the Fox universe and the MCU is being handled because of the TVA from Loki! Sure, I can see how that would work with the “branching timelines” and all that. And the TVA bringing in Wade to help them “straighten out their universe?” Yeah, I can dig it. Oh, and there are hints at who else might be in the movie, including maybe Cassandra Nova!

Last but certainly not least, we get a tease of Hugh Jackman in the Wolverine costume before he skewers Wade! Fun times. So yeah, this will be interesting by the time July 26th comes about!

About Company:-

You may have heard of us, right? We hope so! A few years ago, several friends and I decided to start a gaming podcast, our place on the internet, where we could talk about video games and geek culture stuff without persecution. When we first started, finding a site or persons who did what we wanted was hard. More so for our EIC, Keith Mitchell, who wanted to see geek culture done through the eyes of a BIPOC. Thus, The Outerhaven was born.

Little did we know that this passion would become the launching board for what we’ve become today. The Outerhaven Productions went from just a simple podcast to a website that has been providing coverage of not just video games but also comics, manga, anime, technology, and just about anything that you can squeeze under the geek culture umbrella, from current news, reviews, podcasts that cover Gaming, Manga, Anime, and TV/Films to attending and covering events such as IndieCade, New York Comic Con, PAX East, and more.
