Which is better, a condensing boiler or a heat pump?

In our opinion, the choice between a boiler or a heat pump should be made by taking various aspects into consideration, including the cost of natural gas and the cost of electricity. There is no system better than the other but there is the choice of the most convenient system , in fact in this historical period without photovoltaic panels and a meter of at least 6kw we advise against the use of the heat pump.  Assistenza Caldaia Treviso

How does the condensing boiler work?

The heat of the gases is transferred to the primary exchanger, the gases are transformed into condensate after having cooled down and been evacuated. The recovered heat works inside the primary exchanger by first heating the water (unlike the classic boiler).

relatively low cost of the boiler;

optimal yield;

simple installation.

Disadvantages:

does not use renewable energy sources;

requires gas connection;

How does the heat pump work?

The heat is extrapolated by means of an electricity-powered compressor and is heated until it reaches the suitable temperature of the sanitary water.

Benefits:

no wall drain required;

it is independent of the gas;

reduced electricity consumption if combined with a photovoltaic system.

Disadvantages:

it is not recommended if there is no connected PV system.
