Here is a step-by-step guide on how to make personalized candles with candle tins:

Materials needed:

Candle tins
Candle wicks
Wax flakes or blocks
Fragrance oil (optional)
Dye chips (optional)
Double boiler or a heat-resistant container and a pot of water
Thermometer
Pencil or wooden skewer

Instructions:

Prepare your candle tins by cleaning them with soap and water. Dry them thoroughly.
Measure and cut your wick to the appropriate length for your candle tin. Secure the wick to the bottom of the tin using a small amount of melted wax.
Melt your wax flakes or blocks in a double boiler or a heat-resistant container placed in a pot of simmering water. Use a thermometer to monitor the temperature and make sure it doesn’t exceed the recommended melting point for your wax type.
Add fragrance oil and dye chips to the melted wax, if desired. Stir gently to combine.
Pour the melted wax into the prepared candle tins, leaving some space at the top. Use a pencil or wooden skewer to center the wick if it shifts while pouring.
Let the candles cool and harden completely. This may take a few hours.
Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch.
Your personalized candle tins are now ready to use!
